Water Loss Management and Efficiencies Project
RAMJO is dedicated to delivering sustainable water solutions for our councils.
The Water Loss Management and Efficiencies Project helps member councils identify, reduce, and prevent water losses across supply networks, ensuring water is used efficiently and responsibly. By leveraging advanced monitoring technologies, data-driven analysis, and proactive maintenance strategies, we assist councils in detecting leaks, optimizing distribution, and enhancing operational performance.
Funded by the NSW Government through the Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Water (DCCEEW), the Regional Water Loss Management Hub aims to reduce water loss across the state.
Central NSW Joint Organisation (CNSWJO) previously implemented the program with great success allowing the program to be extended to RAMJO with CNSWJO contracted as delivery partner. The project aims to embed water loss management and efficiency practices into the day-to-day operations of our member councils’ Local Water Utilities. This initiative not only supports water conservation but also drives cost savings, extends infrastructure life, and promotes environmental stewardship.
Overseeing the project in the RAMJO member councils is Sami Campbell. Sami will be coordinating training and dissemiation of information to our member councils. For further information regarding the project please contact Sami on 0492 971 017.
