Key Initiatives
Community Recycling Centres
Your local Community Recycling Centre offers a FREE and EASY solution to safely dispose of your household problem waste items.
Bin Trim
The Bin Trim program provides free support and advice to NSW businesses to maximise recycling and minimise waste to landfill.
Food Waste
When Food Waste is sent to landfill, it significantly contributes to greenhouse gas emissions. Diverting food waste from landfill is an effective way to cut emissions and also create a resource, such as compost products to be used in other applications.
Education
The Halve Waste campaign was established in 2010 to deliver the target of halving the region’s waste to landfill by 2020
