Procurement

RAMJO is working to increase support among our 12 member councils across the region for Procurement Services, through a Best Practice Aggregate Procurement Process (BPAP).  BPAP is available to all member councils looking to procure items via tender that could benefit from bulk buy cost savings;

  • Providing coordinated RFQ and RFT services for shared goods and services where appropriate
  • Improving contract documentation to ensure adequate protections are in place, contractually for member councils
  • Improving processes and systems to get the best practice outcome for procurement activities
  • Providing contract management services to our member councils

This process is a best practice sustainable and cost-effective procurement solution and methodology for our member councils, essential to RAMJO delivering on the key strategic priorities identified for the region.

Procurement undertaken:

Security Operations Centre (SOC ) & Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) Services – RAMJO’s OLG funded Procurement Manager has partnered with IT specialists from the member councils to enable the coordination of a tender for cyber security services to meet State Government requirements.
